Hi all
Do you know I didn't believe that it was Oriana posting...until I heard the interview online and she mentioned this site! :-)
I think it's wonderful that an actor in series' takes time to reminisce with fans
When SAD was recently repeated on Channel 5 (UK) I was the continuity announcer and had lots of letters from people saying they were enjoying my comments over the end credits. I remember once editing some of comments of "Janice" and it sounded as though she had popped up to tell me off and have a bit of an argument. That went down very well and it made me wish I'd done something like that sooner to carry people into the next episode (we were showing two each night)
Anyway Oriana it's great to hear you and even better to hear that interview.
All the very best
Glen

Welcome, Glen!
I hope you won't take offence when I say that sometimes I used to find your comments funny, other times you just annoyed me! Sorry! ;D

Not at all. You can't please everybody all of the time :-)
or whatever the phrase is . heh heh I used to sometimes annoy myself when I'd see it in the early hours :-)

Not off the top of my head. I MAY have some old scripts somewhere at work. I'll have a look although you'll have to guess as to what episodes they refer too LOL
I do remember a strange one which was Glen walking into a factory. It was clearly an hours episode that was chopped in half because as cliffhanger ending go it wasn't exactly gold. I remember commenting on it being strange. Not many finished with someone's backside. LOL

OH Glen.... the writers would find ANY opportunity for the gorgeous Mark to show his butt or in particular take his shirt off!
LOL Remember when Wayne's goons kidnapped him from the airport and took him into the bush and made him strip down to his briefs when he was trying to get to Susan's and Wayne's wedding with the tape to prove Wayne's lies???
He was a good sport!

That's just reminded me. Glen ( the one in SAD, not me) was having lots of scenes with Alison..and aparticularly memorable one in speedos in Charlie's pool. ha I edited together some bits of Alison to make it sound as though she was talking to me, but alas it never made it on-air. It was quite amusing...well it was to me. LOL

Thanks Oriana for remembering the Glen's funeral scene, you must have a good memory, after all it was over 20 years ago. I think even us die-hard fans forget everything that happened during Sons and Daughters run.

Good night Oriana then, it's only 6 on a Saturday night here. But could you just answer one quick question? Who really owned the Hamilton house at Dural?, I know the interior was in the studio. What about the outside shoots in the gardens etc???

Brilliant Simon, a great piece of descriptive writing. Never saw the last episode and you've encapsulated it just fine.
