Here's a screencap I took of the beautiful Susan : a very sad susan. But still looking beautifull.

Congratulations Dee on becoming moderator - almost didtn't see your edit line on my message 133. Love all the tech wizardry here, as well as the new info's and links on this great site. I'm a bit older than Oriana, and most users here. I'd come in for so much teasing from my brother - so I'll keep his privacy and mine re the ID. Have 2 family members in the biz, and knowing of the sheer hard slog to remain working in the business, was interested to find out if Oriana, and S&D cast members, will receive their dues in royalties on the DVD's now being released. all best ~ woombai

True.
I know that Prisoner stars got nothing from repeat showings.Certainly here i the UK. Something which I believe has now been addressed. HOWEVER...rumour has it that as royalties are now due on any future repeats, Grundy's/Freemantle have escalated the price of the show to a ridiculous amount ...which will put off potential buying TV stations.

Truly appalling that Prisoner cast members received no repeat fees. That show will remain so hot and very strong. The DVD's (and newer formats) will be in demand for years to come. It would be criminal if no royalties are ever paid. Good point about repeat fees upping the buying price to other stations. But longer term, Grundy's/F would be better off paying due royalties AND have an ongoing source of revenue from the shows. These shows are "in the can"already and everytime they are repeated anywhere in the world, demand for DVD new release will follow. I'll bet Fiona nor Lizzie Birdsworth ever imagined that their stories would be watched by Beryl's great great+ grandchildren...

Royalties from the dvd's should be due to them.

I have a question for the wonderful Ms Panozzo; * What was Sarah Kemp like? She gave an interview for www.sonsanddaughters.co.uk and she says she sometimes walks like Charlie but hopes she doesn't talk like her! I know you didn't have many stories together but we don't hear much about her these days Her character was actually in almost the entire series, and though she got a bit much in the final year (as did all of S&D) I found her great comic relief. I hope she does some commentaries for her episodes in the future on DVD, I'd love to hear her reaction to some of those 80's outfits she had to wear!

Hi Hunter, Sorry for the delay in responding. Sarah is nothing like Charlie! She's so wise, down to earth, Hip! She's just lovely.... I'm not saying Charlie wasn't Charlie was a lovely, sweet and FUNNY 'glue' type character throughout the series.... she was a main stayer and was an important link for storylines..... we would all turn up sometime or other at Charlies! Remember? Charlie and Isabella were also an important lighter, comic relief and kept that endearing quality going in the show. I wish I could have worked with Sarah more... we got on like a house on fire at the reunion... we could talk for hours... so I hope to catch up with her in the new year. cheers
