I just wondered are the stars of S&D easy to contact. I'm a bit of a fan of events like Collectormania and Comic Con and its intriguing to see who gets asked to these things - it can be quite varied. I also gather that there was a Cell Block H reunion at something similar.
I guess being in England meeting actors like Belinda Giblin, Rowena Wallace, Ian Rawlings, etc would be next to impossible, but do they have a good record of replying to fan mail and if so what is the best way of contacting them? Also would it make more sense to send out photos for them to sign, or do they have their own that they would be happy to send to you?
Thanks in advance.

Some of them are no longer with us - Pat McDonald (Fiona), Brian Blain (Gordon), to start with.
Oddly enough, most of the actors in Australian soaps were unknown names outside of Australia - we had never heard of Paul Cronin, Lorraine Bayly, the late Richard Morgan, Andrew McFarlane, Stephen Tandy and Susan Hannaford before The Sullivans came along - even the gorgeous Ms Hannaford (grew up to be so later in the series) seems to have disappeared from the public eye!
As was the case with other stars from Aussie soaps - but, if you watch enough of them, you can find actors from one popping up in another - A Country Practice was the worst offender - a lot of their guest stars had appeared in other soaps - in the first 20 or so episodes, people like "David Palmer", "Beryl", "John" and so on made guest appearances!
