I got back from London today. Went to see George Michael in concert last night. The man is back in business. Best concert i've ever been to. Atmosphere was totally awesome. I danced, I sang, I screamed, I lost my voice!!!!! He sang some Wham songs which brought back ace memories. I'm just so emotional thinking about it as he is on stage now at Earls Court and I just so want to be there watching him again. I have never experienced anything like it. And this is why I think George is God!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Even though I get the hastles of having my own business and staff etc. I like been able to please myself when I'm off. Do feel guilty sometimes, but I do work weekends etc, so I shouldn't feel guilty. You work for the local council don't you Dee??, what

Revenues Control, basically dealing with all the background work for Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates & Debt Recovery. Boo Hiss!!!!! ;D Hi Dee: I started my own business a few years ago, it was only small then - so I still had to work for other people. In my time I have worked in offices and shops. My main area has always been cleaning - I enjoy it! I have worked at numerous local places cleaning. I started doing it around my HND Business studies at college, when I was a student. It all started when I took a small job, cleaning the communal areas a couple days of days a week at a local residential development. In time I had the idea too put in my own contract, because they were having problems with the current contractor. After a few years my business grew (after hard work) Now I have cleaning contracts all over the Midlands and beyond and have around 80 cleaners' working for me. My company just specializes in cleaning communal areas to flats - it's big business - residents will always their' communal areas cleaned, once or twice per week etc. It's not the sort of work you can be made redundant from or they can ship abroad (like they do nowadays, with everythink) In addition to this, I work early early!! mornings at Boots - love it! I've worked there years and years. Do you enjoy your work Dee?

my goodness you are a busy bee!!! How fab that you've built your business up. I could never be that brave. I wish I was brave enough to go back to college and do a BTEC in something but I don't think I could do it. Over the last 5 years i've gone back to College and got my first OLevel!!!! And it was Maths so i'm well proud of that. And i've done a couple of computer courses (CLAIT and ECDL) an that's it. I love my job. It's only a secondment but i've been in my present job since August 06 and my contract ran out Feb 07 and nobody has sent me back to my old office so i'm staying put. Although my boss just told me not to worry about it coz since i started this job 2 people have left and not been replaced. I totally and utterly love my job, i've learnt so much about IT (info techonology....hee hee) since i've been there. My last pc crashed (windows 98) and I reformatted it and got it up and running again!!! I have now gone up in the world and got a new PC (Windows XP). I really don't want to go back to my old job (processing payments for all council bills) as it's so boring compared to the job I do now. I go on Mondays and before I know it it's Friday. Well, i'll stop waffling on now. tata for now
Dee ;D

Did you see the piece in the paper about All his music being pre recorded? Apparently all his musicians are on stage but none of their instruments are plugged in so they just nod their head and pretend...because he's using backing tracks but pretending theyre playing live! Tut Tut George
